Hatipoğlu, who switched from İYİ Party to AKP: I want to be the mayoral candidate for Eskişehir

Eskişehir Deputy İdris Nebi Hatipoğlu, who resigned from the İYİ Party and joined the AKP, made notable statements regarding the local elections during a live broadcast he attended.

Hatipoğlu responded to the question, "Will you be the Metropolitan Mayoral Candidate for Eskişehir?" He announced his decision for the first time.

In his statement on Habertürk, Hatipoğlu used the following expressions:

"There is a possibility of me becoming a candidate. Of course, I would like to, but the decision rests with our President. I certainly want it. I am an industrialist who has not seen service in my hometown for 25 years. May our teacher Yılmaz be well, he made Eskişehir a brand. But there is something like succumbing to time. Eskişehir could not benefit from sufficient resources. We have very major chronic problems. There is a problem at hand. Hopefully, we will introduce Eskişehir to AK Party municipalism."

ERDOĞAN HAD PINNED THE PARTY BADGE

Hatipoğlu had joined the AK Party in recent days; President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had pinned the party badge on Hatipoğlu.
