A travel ban has been imposed on Mustafa Yazıcı, the son of AKP Deputy Chairman Hayati Yazıcı, whose name was mentioned in the proceedings conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office as part of the "fund investigation."
During the investigation process, the prosecutor's office requested the implementation of asset freezes for numerous individuals in a letter dated September 30. Mustafa Yazıcı was among those named.
It was stated that Mustafa Yazıcı provided his statement on the same day, and in an additional letter sent by the prosecutor's office in the following hours, the restriction decisions regarding Yazıcı and 4 other individuals were lifted. It was reported that only a judicial control measure in the form of a travel ban was applied to Yazıcı.
Hayati Yazıcı, who attended the opening session of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM), was asked by members of the press in the Parliament courtyard about the process concerning his son.

Yazıcı responded to the question only by saying "I will explain," and then left the area, stating that he would provide a detailed assessment on the matter later.
