Teams from the İzmir Provincial Police Department's Counter-Terrorism (TEM) Branch carried out an operation in the early hours of the morning to apprehend 3 suspects. During the operation conducted at the addresses, Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) İzmir provincial co-chairs Vedat Çınar Altan and Berna Çelik, along with HDP Buca district co-chair Nihat Türk, were detained. The processing of the detained suspects at the police station is ongoing.
