He had switched from IYI Party to AKP: The reason for Ersagun's move to the ruling party has been revealed

Cumhuriyet columnist Barış Pehlivan wrote about the debts of Ahmet Ersagun, who resigned from the IYI Party and joined the AKP, in his piece titled "The debts of the 'opposition' MP who joined the AKP."

Pehlivan alleged that Ahmet Ersagun Yücel, who was elected as an Istanbul MP from the CHP lists in the 2023 elections, resigned from the IYI Party in 2024, and recently joined the AKP, switched to the ruling party due to his debts.

1- Does the brand-new AKP MP Yücel have a total of 41 decares of real estate in Bodrum Gökçebel?

2- Does Yücel, who has tens of millions in debt, have 54 separate foreclosure orders on this property alone?

3- Are the Social Security Institution (SGK) and tax offices among the places Yücel owes money to? Is his debt to the public approximately 5 million liras?

4- Was a valuation report prepared by the order of the enforcement office for the payment of all these debts? Was an inspection carried out on Ersagun Yücel's properties on April 29 with an instruction written to the Bodrum 2nd Enforcement Office for these procedures?

5- Is there also a foreclosure order on Yücel's MP salary?

6- Did Ahmet Ersagun Yücel become a ruling party MP with the promise that all of his tens of millions in debt would be paid and his enforcement files would be closed? The allegation is, did he receive 90 million liras in exchange for his transfer to the AKP?

Pehlivan stated that the Bodrum 2nd Enforcement Office prepared a valuation report for Yücel's properties and that an inspection was carried out on these properties on April 29. However, it was noted that Yücel did not respond to these allegations by Pehlivan.
