İsmet Sever, the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) mayoral candidate for the Söğüt district, has announced that he is withdrawing from his candidacy due to health issues.
İsmet Sever, who was also the People's Alliance candidate in the Söğüt district of Bilecik, has announced that he is withdrawing from his candidacy due to health issues.
"I REQUEST TO BE EXCUSED DUE TO MY HEALTH ISSUES"
In his statement, Sever said, "I request to be excused from my candidacy for the Söğüt Mayoralty of the Nationalist Movement Party, of which I am honored and proud to be a member, due to my health issues. I would like to inform the public that my commitment and loyalty to the Nationalist Movement Party and our leader, our Chairman Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, will continue uncompromisingly in the coming process, and I present this with my respects."
İsmet Sever, who is currently serving as mayor, had been nominated as the joint candidate of the People's Alliance by MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli.
