He was detained in the IMM operations: His hair turned white in three days
İYİ Party MP Lütfü Türkkan harshly criticized the operation in which IMM Ağaç ve Peyzaj AŞ General Manager Ali Sukas was also detained. Comparing the images to Nazi concentration camps, Türkkan said, "Justice cannot be spoken of where Ali Sukas is accused."
İYİ Party Kocaeli MP Lütfü Türkkan harshly criticized the operation and detention process carried out as part of a corruption investigation into the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM). In a statement on his social media account, Türkkan compared the images of municipal employees being handcuffed and lined up to concentration camps in Nazi Germany.
"I watched the municipal employees, who were lined up like prisoners taken to Hitler's concentration camps, with police officers around them. I woke up to these photos and videos this morning," said Türkkan, stating that the practice was contrary to human dignity.
"SUKAS CONSIDERS THIS ACCUSATION AN INSULT"
Highlighting the name of Ali Sukas, General Manager of IMM Ağaç ve Peyzaj AŞ, who was detained as part of the operation, Türkkan stated that Sukas, whom he also knows personally, could not bear such an accusation. "When I met him a week ago, there was either no gray in his hair or very little. I saw him today, his hair has turned completely white. He has considered such an accusation an insult to himself. He is such a sensitive man," he said.

"WHERE ALI SUKAS IS A THIEF, THERE IS NO HONEST MAN"
Lütfü Türkkan recalled that Ali Sukas had served as the Chairman of the Ülkü Ocakları (Idealist Hearths) in the past and was even one of the favorite hearth chairmen of Alparslan Türkeş, the founding leader of the MHP. He reacted by saying, "He is a person known for his sensitivity regarding what is lawful and what is forbidden. If Ali Sukas is a thief, I cannot call anyone in this country honest.".
