Justice Party Hatay Metropolitan Municipality mayoral candidate Orhan Dede has withdrawn from the race, throwing his support behind Hatay Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Lütfü Savaş, who has been nominated for re-election.
Holding a press conference, Dede stated the following:
“As the Justice Party, due to the existing geographical structure of our Hatay, we are satisfied with the services Mayor Lütfü has provided to the people of Hatay. We have decided to withdraw from the candidacy after consulting within the party.”
