High-level resignation in IYI Party: Founding member leaves party, saying 'I cannot vouch for it'

In the IYI Party, which has seen a series of resignations both before and after the March 31 Local Elections, a new one has been added to these departures.

Naci Cinisli, a founder of the IYI Party and a 27th Term Member of Parliament for Erzurum, announced his resignation from the party in a post on his social media account.

Cinisli announced his resignation with the words, "I would like to inform you that I am resigning from my IYI Party with great sadness due to the necessity I have seen."

In the statement he made on his social media account, Cinisli used the following expressions:

"The most meaningful title that I will honorably leave as a legacy to my family in my life is being a founder of our IYI Party, which was the result of the great efforts of thousands of patriots during the most oppressive time in Republican history and which has won the support and trust of millions of our citizens.

Today, unfortunately, independent of the person of our Chairman Mr. Müsavat Dervişoğlu, I cannot vouch for my party's desire for growth, its ideals, its political intentions, and its goals.

I would like to inform you that I am resigning from my IYI Party with great sadness due to the necessity I have seen. I offer my heartfelt gratitude to all my valuable fellow party members, to my precious fellow citizens from Erzurum who honored me with their votes, and to my dear citizens from all over Turkey who have never withheld their sincere interest.

The country belongs to all of us. May you be entrusted to God."
