Former Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman and former Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Hikmet Çetin met with Devlet Bahçeli at the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) headquarters.
No statement was made to the press following the meeting, which lasted approximately one hour.
Following the visit, Çetin answered questions from Ece Üner on Halk TV's main news broadcast. Stating that the meeting took place entirely within the framework of courtesy, Çetin expressed that he thanked Bahçeli for the peace process he is conducting.
