HKP files criminal complaint against those chanting 'long live sharia' inside the courthouse
The People's Liberation Party (HKP) has filed a criminal complaint against those who chanted 'long live sharia' inside the courthouse and those who permitted it, stating that they committed the crimes of 'violating the Constitution,' 'inciting the public to hatred and hostility or insulting them,' and 'misconduct in office.'
A 20-year-old individual named Ahmet Bostancı was angered by an imam praying for Atatürk on November 10, left the mosque, and shouted insults at Atatürk outside the mosque. He was subsequently arrested.
'LONG LIVE SHARIA' SLOGAN AT THE COURTHOUSE
Following his hearing at the Istanbul Anatolian Courthouse, a release decision was issued for Bostancı. Upon the release decision, a group of approximately one hundred people chanted takbir and shouted "Long live sharia" in the courthouse corridors.
The People's Liberation Party (HKP) announced that they have filed a criminal complaint against those who chanted 'long live sharia' at the courthouse and those who allowed it.
CRIMINAL COMPLAINT FROM HKP
HKP stated, "As the People's Liberation Party, we have filed a criminal complaint against the medieval reactionaries who acted by chanting 'Long live sharia' at the courthouse, the Chief Public Prosecutor and Public Prosecutors of the Istanbul Anatolian Courthouse who allowed sharia propaganda to be made, and the police chiefs of the Istanbul Anatolian Courthouse who remained silent in the face of this act, which is contrary to the Constitution and the laws."
"3 DAYS HAVE PASSED BUT PUBLIC PROSECUTORS ARE NOT TAKING ACTION"
The full statement from HKP is as follows:
"Today, we have brought the sharia shouts in a courthouse of the Secular Republic, a judicial institution boasted of as the largest courthouse in the world, to the judiciary.
As the People's Liberation Party, which rebels against our country being taken into the darkness of the Middle Ages and carries out the most effective struggle against this drift into darkness, we can no longer stomach the attacks and insults directed at Mustafa Kemal, the Founding Leader of our Secular Republic, and his comrades-in-arms, which have now become commonplace. But the Public Prosecutors, who are tasked with enforcing the laws of the Secular Republic, and the Law Enforcement Forces, who should intervene in crimes committed against these laws, can stomach these insults. 3 days have passed since the act where 'Long live sharia' slogans were chanted in the courthouse corridors, but the Public Prosecutors are not taking action.
Who is taking action?
Once again, the most patriotic, most pro-people Party of this country, the HKP, which has included the phrase 'We are secular: We will abolish all kinds of spiritual exploitation' in its Program and is waging a struggle against the country being dragged into deep darkness.
"THEY IGNORE THE CRIME COMMITTED BEFORE THEIR EYES"
We would also like to state that the public prosecutors who hid in their offices like ostriches against the mob that committed a crime by shouting for sharia and the caliphate at the Anatolian Courthouse that day, can open cases and impose penalties on our Chairman Nurullah Efe Ankut for every speech, every article, and every book of his. But they can ignore the crime committed right before their eyes.
As the People's Liberation Party; we have filed a criminal complaint with the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the Chief Public Prosecutor and Public Prosecutors of the Istanbul Anatolian Courthouse who allowed sharia propaganda to be made and did not take action regarding this act which is contrary to the Constitution and laws, the Police Chiefs of the Istanbul Anatolian Courthouse who remained silent about this act which is contrary to the Constitution and laws, and the individuals who will be identified from camera recordings who acted by chanting 'Long live Sharia' in the corridors of the Istanbul Anatolian Courthouse on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, for committing the crimes of 'inciting the public to hatred and hostility or insulting them,' 'misconduct in office,' and 'violating the Constitution.'
Our Respected People;
Where do these medieval-yearning madmen draw their strength from?
They draw their strength from Tayyip Erdoğan, the leader of the AKP clan, who calls Mustafa Kemal and İsmet İnönü 'two drunks' and 'two dead cows,' who says 'I am a sharia supporter,' who says 'You are dividing the ummah,' and who says 'Even if it is difficult for our ego, we will place the provisions of our religion, not the conditions of the period, at the center of our lives.'
They draw their strength from the fact that teacher Emine Karakaş, who worked at the TED College in Antalya, was dismissed by the order of the National Education Directorate for making a speech defending the Secular Republic on October 29.
They draw their strength from the shouting of caliphate and sharia slogans at protests supporting Palestine and the fact that the judiciary, which the AKP clan has turned into its own law firm, remains a spectator to this.
But these days will also pass. We will break through this darkness and bring bright days. Our people succeeded a century ago. We will succeed again. We will establish the Revolutionary Democratic People's Power and throw this darkness into the trash heap of history, never to return."
