COURT OF CASSATION RULING AND PARTY REACTION
The Office of the Chief Public Prosecutor of the Court of Cassation announced on July 28, 2025, that the prison sentence handed down to Nurullah Efe Ankut for the crime of "insulting the President" had been finalized. This decision resulted in Ankut's removal from party membership and his position as chairman. The HKP reacted to this decision, declaring that they consider the Court of Cassation's ruling to be "null and void."
