Evaluations regarding the party's internal agenda took center stage during the CHP's three-day retreat held in Bolu. According to Habertürk, current political topics were addressed at the retreat, which was chaired by Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.

According to the report by Mahir Kılıç from Habertürk, some deputies who took the floor during the closed-door meetings recalled the work Kılıçdaroğlu has carried out for the party and used the term "Honorary Chairman" for him.

It was stated that these evaluations were not expressed as a direct message that Kılıçdaroğlu should not be a candidate at the party congress. It was reported that throughout the retreat, in both open and closed sessions, no deputy or Party Assembly member made a direct call to Kılıçdaroğlu saying, "you should not be a candidate."

During the meetings, some deputies emphasized that a new hope must be created within the CHP and a new story must be written. In this context, it was stated that messages of a "fresh start" came to the fore within the party.
