AKP Deputy Chairman in charge of Election Affairs Ali İhsan Yavuz held an information meeting ahead of the local elections.

Explaining that there are 4 ballot papers including the neighborhood headman (muhtar) election, Yavuz stated, “Excluding the neighborhood headman ballot, a single envelope will be given to the voter along with the stamp, and everyone will cast their vote into the ballot box after voting.”

According to the report on NTV; stating that 250 thousand 903 ballot boxes will be set up across the country, Yavuz said, “Election day is very important, and the evening is also very important. Therefore, keep your eyes and ears on us. We are a party that very assertively receives and collects election results very quickly, and at the same time analyzes the election results and coordinates objections and complaints within this system.”

Yavuz added, “Since we will receive the election results very quickly, we want to make frequent statements to prevent any manipulation.”
