How will a man who doesn't speak to any of his 10 siblings get along with the nation? Fatih Altaylı shares those words
Journalist Fatih Altaylı made striking remarks about Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu while evaluating the latest developments within the CHP. Sharing a conversation he had with a CHP member who was once close to Kılıçdaroğlu, Altaylı quoted the person as saying, "How will a man who doesn't speak to any of his 10 siblings get along with the nation?"
As discussions continue following the court-ordered reinstatement of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu as chairman of the CHP, journalist Fatih Altaylı has offered some striking assessments. Commenting on the agenda on his own broadcasting platform, Altaylı addressed the current situation within the party and the expectations regarding Kılıçdaroğlu.
"THE CHP IS DIVIDED"
In his writing, Altaylı touched upon the political landscape within the CHP, stating that on one side, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu met with citizens at a holiday celebration program held at the party headquarters, while on the other, Özgür Özel met with party members at Güvenpark.
Altaylı suggested that the crowd around Kılıçdaroğlu was more limited compared to Özgür Özel's event, arguing that a large number of people responded to Özel's call.
Stating that Özgür Özel later walked to Anıtkabir with the crowd accompanying him, Altaylı claimed that a large portion of the CHP base supports Özel.
"THE PARTY'S STRONGEST WING HAS BEEN EXCLUDED"
Evaluating the current image of the CHP, Altaylı claimed that despite the party being in a strong position in the eyes of the voters, it presents a weak picture politically.
Arguing that the division within the party harms the opposition, Altaylı claimed that the strongest segment of the CHP has been excluded, while its weakest link is in management.
STRIKING CLAIM REGARDING KILIÇDAROĞLU
In his article, Altaylı also shared a conversation he had with a CHP member whom he described as having been one of the names close to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu in the past, and shared that person's assessments regarding the possibility of reconciliation.
According to Altaylı, the CHP member claimed that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is one of 11 siblings and has not spoken to his siblings for many years.
The CHP member in question shared the following remarks with Altaylı:
"Mr. Fatih, I don't know if you are aware, but Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is one of 11 siblings. And he is estranged from all of them. He hasn't spoken to any of his 10 siblings for years. He didn't even visit them on their deathbeds. You remember what his older brother said about him. Everyone was angry at his brother back then. How can one sit down and talk to someone who doesn't speak to his 10 siblings and doesn't even make peace on their deathbed?"
ALTAYLI: "HOW WILL HE GET ALONG WITH THE NATION?"
Following this conversation, Altaylı made an assessment, arguing that it is not correct to expect a political reconciliation or solution from Kılıçdaroğlu.
In the relevant section of his article, Altaylı used the phrase, "How will a man who cannot get along with any of his 10 siblings get along with the nation?"
