Hüseyin Baş visits Ümit Özdağ

Independent Turkey Party (BTP) Chairman Hüseyin Baş visited Victory Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ.

The meeting, which took place at the Victory Party headquarters in Ankara, addressed the current state of Turkish politics and the agenda for the upcoming local elections. The two leaders made a joint statement following the meeting.

BTP leader Hüseyin Baş, who made the first statement, said, "We visited Victory Party Chairman Mr. Ümit Özdağ. I would like to thank him for his hospitality. We have the upcoming local elections ahead of us. We exchanged ideas on the course of Turkey, the fact that Turkey has been struggling within the same game with both its government and opposition in recent times, and what can be done regarding these issues. Very productive opinions emerged. We will continue to make evaluations in the coming period as well. I would like to thank him once again for his hospitality."

"LOCAL ELECTIONS ARE OF GREAT IMPORTANCE"

Victory Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ, who said, "We had the opportunity to make a comprehensive assessment of Turkish politics while heading towards the local elections," used the following expressions: "We had the opportunity to both listen to his and his party's valuable views regarding the upcoming period, and to convey our own views and evaluate them together. We have decided to hold such meetings more frequently from now on. Hopefully, both while heading towards the local elections and after the local elections, we will come together from time to time to have coffee and evaluate Turkey's issues together. We are very clearly aware that the local elections are of great importance for both parties. These elections will also be an important stage in Turkish politics. Therefore, we will continue our consultations so that every step we take is shaped in a way that contributes to this stage. I thank him for his visit."
