MetroPOLL founder Özer Sencar shared the results of a general election poll conducted for Istanbul in February.

The results were as follows:

AKP 26.4 percent

CHP 24.7 percent

DEM 8.0

MHP: 5.2

İYİ Party 5.11

New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi) 3.7

Victory Party (Zafer Partisi) 2.1

Workers' Party of Turkey (Türkiye İşçi Partisi) 1.5

Homeland Party (Memleket Partisi) 1.2

Undecided 11.5

Protest 5.5

No Answer 3.1

In the survey, the rate of those saying "undecided," "protest vote," and "no answer" reached 20.5 percent, showing an increase of 5.2 percent compared to the previous month.

DECLINE FOR AKP, INCREASE FOR CHP

While the AKP received 35.73 percent of the vote in the May 14, 2023 elections, it was observed that it experienced a 2.63 percent decline when undecided and protest votes were distributed proportionally.

It was observed that the CHP, which received 28.51 percent of the vote in the May 14 elections, increased its votes by 2.49 percent after proportional distribution, rising to the 31 percent level.

The DEM Party increased its vote share from 8.18 percent to 9.9 percent. The increase in the MHP rose from the 6.07 percent level to 6.5 percent.

The İYİ Party's vote share in Istanbul, which was 8.23 percent, fell to 6.3 percent.
