Imamoğlu shares post on Timur Soykan and Murat Ağırel

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and CHP presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu continues to share posts from his social media account while at Silivri Prison.

Regarding journalists Murat Ağırel and Timur Soykan, who were detained in the morning hours, İmamoğlu said, "Leave the journalists alone. How far can you run from the truth?"

'The journalists revealed that the case file that led to our arrest turned out to be a dud and that all the allegations were fabricated. That is the reason for this panic; Murat Ağırel and Timur Soykan were only doing journalism.

You are so afraid of the truth that you have become completely flustered. You couldn't make anything up, your true colors were revealed, and now you are attacking journalists with fabricated excuses.

Leave the journalists alone. How far can you run from the truth?'
