Interesting IMM claim from Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı: 'If Meral Danış Beştaş can reach 9% of the vote...'

Journalist Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı, known for his proximity to the government, has made interesting claims regarding the highly anticipated Istanbul elections.

Quoting a post on his social media account in which Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) IMM Mayoral Candidate Meral Danış Beştaş invited people to a rally for Newroz, Kütahyalı listed the developments he claims would occur if Beştaş's vote share reaches 9%.

Starting his remarks by saying, "If Meral Danış Beştaş can reach a 9% vote share on March 31," Kütahyalı itemized what would happen if this were to occur:

1- The isolation at Imralı will be lifted.

2- Selahattin Demirtaş, Osman Kavala, and imprisoned Kurdish politicians will be released.

3- No trustees will be appointed to Kurdish municipalities.

The seal is in the hands of the Istanbul Kurds..."
