Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has issued harsh criticisms of Israel in his latest statements.
Khamenei defined Israel as a "terrorist Zionist entity" and stated that only force should be used against this entity.
"The terrorist Zionist entity must be dealt with strongly. We will never compromise with them," Khamenei said, emphasizing that any compromise with Israel is out of the question.
Furthermore, religious and symbolic references in Khamenei's statements in the last few hours have drawn attention.
Khamenei used harsh language implying that the war has begun, stating, "The war begins in the name of the Noble Haydar. Ali is returning to Khaybar with his Zulfiqar. Allahu Akbar."
