''When we took office, that is on April 1, 2024, there was approximately 38 million in cash in our municipality's treasury, and against this, we had a debt of 90 million. Our debt was 90 million liras, and our cash was 38 million. Of course, since we started our duty on April 1, we paid the March salaries, we paid our electricity bills, we paid for the fuel, electricity, and personnel salaries that were due for March. Along with this, as you know, there are civil servant salaries on the 15th of the month. In other words, approximately 10 million in cash left our treasury in the first 15 days. We have now started to balance our income and expenses. We have approximately 28 million liras in our treasury."
"WE WILL NOT BE INVOLVED IN ANY DARK OR DIRTY BUSINESS"
Providing information about his own term, Ormanoğlu said, "Let me state our income and expenses for April and May. In April, we had an income of 7 million 150 thousand TL, and in contrast, our expenses were 11 million 762 thousand TL. We are 4 million 600 thousand TL in the red. In May, we had expenses of 11 million 922 thousand TL, and against this, we had an income of 8 million 16 thousand TL. Our deficit has dropped to approximately 4 million TL. First of all, let me state clearly that we are open to all kinds of criticism. We are open to all kinds of well-intentioned, positive or negative criticism. We are transparent, we are clear. We will not be involved in any dark or dirty business that we would hide or conceal from our people" he stated.
