İYİ Party founding board member resigns!

Mithat Solgun, who previously served as the MHP Provincial Chairman and later resigned to join the İYİ Party's Adıyaman founding board, has resigned.

In his statement, Mithat Solgun said, "They have brought a party that became the focus of Turkey's agenda even before it was officially formed, and which became the hope of a large mass of citizens from all walks of life and the social opposition, to the point of collapse with their endless egos, personal ambitions and conflicts, and their attitudes of seeing themselves as giants in the mirror. They squandered the unlimited credit the nation extended to them. They replaced those they set out with, with those they found along the way."

Solgun continued his statement as follows:

"In short, they wasted the pure, clean, and sincere feelings and expectations of millions of citizens who pinned their hopes on them. After all that has happened, I personally do not find it right to remain even as a simple member of the İYİ Party. We are deeply uneasy and uncomfortable. Without going into further detail, I am resigning from the İYİ Party, which I joined with great hopes and expectations, as of today."
