İYİ Party Leader Müsavat Dervişoğlu reacts to 'lieutenants' and 'Minister Tekin': 'Only the names of these two ministries remain 'National''
İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu made notable statements at his party's group meeting. Dervişoğlu responded to the expulsion request for the lieutenants and the 'secularism' remarks made by Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin.
İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu spoke at his party's group meeting.
CRITICISM OF 'NATIONALITY' TOWARD THE MINISTRY OF NATIONAL DEFENSE AND THE MINISTRY OF NATIONAL EDUCATION
Highlights from Dervişoğlu's statements are as follows:
"What makes a state a state is ensuring the safety of life and property. They do this by performing essential and continuous public services. What are those services? Justice, security, and foreign policy. Health, education, and defense. Among these six duties, the ministries at the head of two of them carry the 'national' title. The Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of National Defense. The emphasis on 'national' here highlights that these services must be provided in the same way and for the same purpose throughout the entire country. In other words, it is for all of us.
It is clear that in Turkey under the trusteeship of the palace, only the names of these two ministries and two essential public services remain national. If it were otherwise, one incompetent person would not have been appointed as Minister of National Education, and the expulsion of lieutenants who took an oath of allegiance to Atatürk and the secular Republic would not even have been considered. I will not repeat the nonsense uttered here by the Minister responsible for destroying Turkish generations. These are the results of them thinking the country is a 'stable'. Erdoğan is the cause, Yusuf Tekin is the result. It is certainly no coincidence that an incompetent person who cannot even provide soap in schools makes such grand statements. Like his other counterparts in the cabinet, he is bloated from consuming the rights of others, was made a rector through special decrees for himself, and today he thinks he is taking revenge on Atatürk and the Republic through the office he holds. This individual defines secularism as an 'invented concept' and attacks the Committee of Union and Progress, which has become part of our history. By covering his delusions with a veneer of pseudo-piety, he is proving his loyalty to his master in the Palace and the sheikhs whose hands he kisses at the AK Party meetings he attends.
UNAPPOINTED TEACHERS
He is the 9th minister. Eight ministers served before this minister. In these 22 years, the term of a non-national Minister of Education has been 2.4 years. Almost no minister has been able to serve in the ministry even for the duration it takes for a child starting school to learn the four basic arithmetic operations.
During the AK Party era, another title, 'unappointed teacher', has been added alongside titles like permanent, contracted, and paid teachers. This title means 'a teacher who could not pass through the AK Party's favoritism obstacle course'.
NEWBORN SCANDAL
The palace government wants to change the agenda so that the real agenda of the people—the poverty at the bottom and the corruption committed by those at the top—is not discussed. They constantly fill the agenda with artificial issues. Our nation's biggest problem is the cost of living. At the forefront of this is high food inflation. Everything they say 'do not get involved in' is our area of responsibility. Because it is our duty to ensure the prosperity this nation deserves.
Unfortunately, our health system has also been destroyed for the sake of rent. However, the issue can no longer be explained by rent alone. Our babies have been killed for money. They have been left hungry and tortured.
Unfortunately, our children were entrusted to the members of this merciless organization, known for baby killing, to these monsters. It is a system where those without money are left to die, and those with money are humiliated by their money, and can even lose their newborn baby."
