İYİ Party member resigns to join CHP
Uzunköprü Mayor Ediz Martin has announced his resignation from the İYİ Party and stated that he will join the CHP in the coming days.
Martin, who was elected Mayor of the Uzunköprü district of Edirne from the İYİ Party in the March 31 local elections, has resigned from his party.
Martin announced that he is resigning from the İYİ Party to return to the CHP, where he previously served as Youth Branch President.
In his statement, Martin said, "I recently resigned from my İYİ Party membership. I would like to inform you that I will be joining the Republican People's Party (CHP) in the coming days."
