Statement from IYI Party MP Ümit Dikbayır: Speculation about his resignation
Journalist Şaban Sevinç announced in a post on his X account that IYI Party MP Ümit Dikbayır will not resign.
While the wave of resignations continues within the IYI Party, Ümit Dikbayır, who was alleged to have had the accounts of Akşener's family investigated, said in an interview published this morning, "If the Chairwoman does not reveal the truth, I will apply to the prosecutor's office."
Following these developments, a statement came from Ümit Dikbayır, who was expected to resign from the party, indicating the exact opposite.
Journalist Şaban Sevinç included Dikbayır's new statements in a post on his social media account and announced that Dikbayır would not resign.

"They have drowned Ms. Akşener in a chain of gossip. I have absolutely no accusations against Ms. Akşener. I am a founder of this party. There is no question of me resigning."

ANOTHER POST CAME FROM KÜRŞAD OĞUZ
Journalist Şaban Sevinç, who made the statement on behalf of Ümit Dikbayır, had said that Dikbayır was not considering resigning from his party. Following this post by Sevinç, another post came from journalist Kürşad Oğuz.
Stating that he had spoken with the name on the agenda, Ümit Dikbayır, Oğuz said that the IYI Party member would hold a press conference tomorrow. Oğuz used the following expressions in his post:
I spoke with Ümit Dikbayır. He will make a press statement tomorrow, and he will file a criminal complaint with the prosecutor's office on Wednesday.

WHAT HAPPENED?
IYI Party Spokesperson Kürşad Zorlu had announced that IYI Party Sakarya MP Ümit Dikbayır had been referred to the disciplinary board with a request for permanent expulsion, signed by Akşener.
Dikbayır, who did not give statements to journalists regarding the matter, made a post on his social media account.
Dikbayır said the following:
"Sometimes, if you don't do what is wanted, you become unwanted... GOD is Great..."
