In a post on his social media account, Turhan Çömez made striking allegations regarding Serdar Turhan, the Chairman of the Board of Pusula Holding, who was arrested in Istanbul as part of a stock market and fund investigation.
İYİ Party's Çömez stated that Turhan had given conferences on the "Islamic Finance System" and alleged that money transfers were made within the scope of an ongoing investigation.
In his post, Çömez claimed that after the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office sent a letter to the Capital Markets Board, billions of liras were transferred to Switzerland, and argued that these transfers were made to Rothschild Bank.
MP Turhan Çömez asserted that documents he stated had emerged today show that the money transfers were not limited to Switzerland alone.
According to Çömez, Serdar Turhan also transferred "a few billion" to London.
Turhan Çömez reiterated his claims by citing his previous post from October 13.
There has been no public statement from Serdar Turhan or the mentioned institutions regarding these allegations.
