İYİ Party spokesperson Kürşat Zorlu responds to claims he will join the CHP

İYİ Party Spokesperson Kürşat Zorlu spoke to Sözcü columnist Aytunç Erkin. In his statement, Kürşat Zorlu said, "Politics must evolve toward a new climate and a new production of discourse. Naturally, this renewal process may leave politics with new actors within itself."

Stating that "this deadlock in politics hinders a construction process based on production, development, and scientificity," Zorlu predicted, "While the state has an obligation to produce a realistic production policy for its citizens, a consumption-based impasse has been created for years. Frankly, a vision expansion is impossible in such a system. Let me also say this: Turkey will definitely discuss amending this system before heading to elections."

CLAIMS OF JOINING THE CHP

Kürşad Zorlu responded to the question regarding the claim that he would "join the CHP following the consecutive resignations in the İYİ Party" as follows:

"First of all, this claim is absolutely not true. The CHP has already denied it institutionally as well. I am trying to perform the representative duty given to me by my nation in the best way possible within the İYİ Party. I am striving to draw attention to the problems of almost every segment and be their voice. I do not want to say anything about the friends who resigned. Of course, I do not find what happened to be right. But let me say this much; whether it is a member or a deputy, losses are important and sad. One should not look at it from the perspective of 'let those who go, go,' and one must make an effort to ensure it does not happen again. We will have an ordinary congress process soon. We have a duty and an obligation to maintain unity and integrity during this transition process. Ensuring the recovery in our organizations will also be related to this. In my first interview with you, I had described the İYİ Party as (Turkey's national center). What was this? It was a center that could embrace every part and every person of Turkey, was kneaded with the values of the Republic, represented the reasonable, read the world well, and could hold together a renewal suitable for this and at the same time the ability to resist. We are obliged to show our nation that we can rebuild this. In addition to criticizing the government, we must also establish our solutions and the trust related to this among our citizens."
