İYİ Party visits Parliament Speaker following 'Talat Pasha' debate
İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu and his delegation visited Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş to convey their demands regarding the debates and disciplinary penalties that occurred in the General Assembly.
İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu, along with Group Deputy Chairmen Turhan Çömez and Buğra Kavuncu, and Denizli MP and Clerk Member Yasin Öztürk, visited Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş.
The meeting addressed the censure penalty given to Öztürk following the debate that took place last week in the General Assembly between Deputy Speaker of Parliament Tekin Bingöl and Board member and İYİ Party Denizli MP Yasin Öztürk.
The İYİ Party is demanding that a penalty of exclusion from three legislative sessions be imposed on DEM Party Mardin MP George Aslan due to his ''Armenian genocide'' remarks and the expressions he used regarding Talat Pasha, and that his speech be removed from the General Assembly records.
