İYİ Party's Kürşad Zorlu takes a jab at CHP over artificial intelligence! He recalled the period before May 14

İYİ Party Spokesperson Kürşad Zorlu made evaluations regarding the agenda at a press conference held at his party's headquarters.

Addressing the landslide at the gold mine in the İliç district of Erzincan, Zorlu described the incident as 'a disaster where no one takes responsibility and no one admits to the wrongdoing; where those who speak out are punished and our consciences are wounded once again.'

Zorlu emphasized that as the İYİ Party, they will follow the process to ensure that those responsible for the disaster in İliç are held accountable before the law and punished.

ERDOĞAN'S NATURAL GAS THREAT

Evaluating the words of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during his speech in Ordu, “A metropolitan municipality where we are not present, excuse me, I am speaking openly, how will it bring natural gas? If we are there, there is natural gas; if we are not there, there is no natural gas,” Zorlu continued his statements as follows:

“We must all stand against this politics of threat together. There is no such thing as democracy. How many times do we need to remind that provinces cannot be separated into those with AKP municipalities and those without? In fact, we also need to explain to the political power on March 31 that citizens cannot be separated into those who vote for the government and those who do not. For us, each of the 81 provinces and 922 districts is Turkey. Each of the 85 million people in the country is Turkey. If you represent Turkey, knowing this and acting accordingly is our debt to the national will from which we derive our power.”

ÖZEL'S ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE STATEMENT

Speaking about the candidacy of Lütfü Savaş, which caused reactions within the CHP, and CHP leader Özgür Özel's statement that they utilized artificial intelligence in the survey studies for the candidates they would field, Zorlu expressed the following:

“I cannot say that we are very interested in the candidate another party will field in Hatay, but we have a candidate. Our Hatay Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral Candidate is Nusret Cömert. Believe me, the race will take place in an even more competitive climate. I would like to express that the İYİ Party will win this race. The second issue is the subject of artificial intelligence. I followed this as well. Adapting such technologies to politics is a useful thing, but I wish they had done this when the İYİ Party expressed these concerns before May 14, when Ms. Meral Akşener brought this claim and this proposal to that table; perhaps we would have woken up to a very different Turkey today.”

ASSASSINATION CASE

When asked about the assassination allegations involving the name of İYİ Party General Administrative Board Member Ayşen Kurt and her husband, Zorlu said, “It is a matter that has been referred to the judiciary. We are also following it. The investigation is being conducted with great care. We are of the opinion that this is a personal matter. We plan to make another statement based on the concrete evidence that will emerge in the coming days.”
