İYİ Party's rally move against the 'opening' process: First location and date announced

The İYİ Party has decided to organize rallies to explain the dangers of the 'opening' process to the public, as the stage of establishing a commission in Parliament regarding the process has been reached. The first rally will be held in Osmangazi, Bursa, on August 3. Rallies are also planned for other provinces in the coming period.

Speaking to Cumhuriyet, Istanbul Deputy Cihan Paçacı stated that this process carries great risks for Turkey, saying, "Turkey has entered a dangerous period with the invitation of terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan to the Turkish Grand National Assembly. This process could lead to Turkey's transformation into a federative structure and its division." Paçacı also expressed that the Turkish leg of the US's Greater Middle East Project is being implemented and that, within this framework, the PKK is being treated as a legitimate interlocutor.

Paçacı emphasized that the İYİ Party and Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu will resist this process. He stated, "We will inform our public with the rally we will hold in Bursa on August 3. The İYİ Party is determined to protect Turkey's unitary structure and national identity. This process of betrayal will certainly be prevented with the support of our people."
