Journalist Tuncay Mollaveisoğlu's 'trustee' warning: 'AKP is an exhausted party...'

'CHP MEMBERS SHOULD NOT FALL INTO THIS TRAP'

Mollaveisoğlu stated, "By appointing trustees to DEM Party municipalities and naturally having the CHP leadership oppose this, the AKP also wants to cause a rift within the CHP... Opposing trustees who recklessly and arbitrarily eliminate the will of the people is a requirement of democracy. CHP members should not fall into this trap; they must remain united..."

'INFLATION WAS ANNOUNCED AT HALF THE REAL RATE'

Noting that the economic crisis is being pushed into the background alongside the inflation data announced by TUIK and ENAG, Mollaveisoğlu said, "Trade with Israel continues at full speed. They still haven't solved the Narin murder. Among the reasons for the newborn baby massacre is the AKP's opening of the healthcare system to rent-seeking. Corruption is not being discussed. Today, inflation was announced at half the real rate. They will cut half of the raise to be given to retirees," he said.

'AKP IS AN EXHAUSTED PARTY'

Mollaveisoğlu also noted the following:

"The AKP wants to polarize society. It has always won through polarization... This is the reason for appointing trustees to DEM-run municipalities after Esenyurt... And the reason it is still trying to stir up tension in Esenyurt... The public will come face to face with security forces, and the AKP will say 'look, terrorism has increased,' and they will portray the CHP's struggle for democracy as support for DEM-terrorism. Therefore, one must stay away from conflict... DEM Party members should not bring their voters face to face with the police... The AKP is an exhausted party. Hoping to gain from tension is a great disservice to the country..."
