Criminal complaint from Justice Party Chairman Vecdet Öz against Mustafa Destici
Justice Party Chairman Vecdet Öz announced that he will file a criminal complaint against Great Unity Party (BBP) Chairman Mustafa Destici, citing a post made by Destici on the X platform.
Great Unity Party (BBP) Chairman Mustafa Destici had made posts on the X platform under the title 'A total struggle must be waged against all elements of terror,' targeting many political parties in Turkey, excluding the parties of the People's Alliance.
TARGETED MANY PARTIES
The following statements were included in the post, in which the Justice Party was also targeted:
"Fighting against the terrorist organization only in the mountains is not enough to root it out and end it.
Terror must be fought with all its elements, especially its political extensions.
While the state is waging a relentless struggle against the terrorist organization, primarily with its security and other institutions, it is unacceptable for the Constitutional Court (AYM) to sign decisions that will harm this struggle under the pretext of 'impartiality and law,' to fail to take or be unable to take expected and urgent decisions such as the closure of the HDP and the cutting off of treasury aid, and to issue rights violation rulings every time regarding those whose sentences for terrorism advocacy have been finalized.
When it comes to an attack on the state, the country, and the nation, everyone and every institution is a party and is obliged to take a side.
This situation also applies to our political parties.
Those who are in close contact with the political extensions of the terrorist organization, who welcome them with red carpets and cooperate with them, and who send greetings to their ringleaders at every opportunity, cause their sincerity to be questioned when they condemn terror and commemorate our martyrs today.
If the immunity files of more than 500 so-called deputies who defend terror and terrorist organizations are not voted on in Parliament; if terror advocates are allowed to sit in the Parliamentary Bureau, on the administrative board, and in the parliamentary rows; if they are even allowed to drink coffee and tea and chat with them in the lobby, and if these traitors are wandering around the corridors of Parliament with their arms swinging and pointing fingers at our state and our heroic army from the parliamentary podium; then the other political parties in Parliament are not doing their duty in the fight against terror.
If you are cooperating with the political branch of the terrorist organization in the elections; if you are partnering with those they cooperate with; if you are signing memorandums of understanding for certain interests and asking for votes for the same candidate as the parties of the PKK, TİKKO, and DHKPC for a few ministries or seats; the fake condemnations you make today have no value in the eyes of our nation.
Let no one forget: Those who try to take over the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish nation with terrorist acts will be frustrated.
Just yesterday, in the May 14 and May 28 elections, you were all together."
A TOTAL STRUGGLE MUST BE WAGED AGAINST ALL ELEMENTS OF TERROR.
