The convention agenda continues in the CHP, which will hold its 38th Ordinary Convention on November 4-5. With only days left until the convention, CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu held a notable meeting with IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.

According to information reflected in the political corridors regarding the meeting held at the Çankaya Ahlatlıbel facilities, Kılıçdaroğlu proposed that İmamoğlu serve as the convention chair.

Headquarters sources had previously stated that they wanted to bring in a name for the convention chair that both sides would agree upon.

Whether İmamoğlu will accept the proposal will become clear following the meeting.
