Kılıçdaroğlu's inspector move regarding provincial chairs
During the CHP Central Executive Board (MYK) meeting, the situation in certain provincial organizations that do not recognize Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's administration was discussed. It was decided to send inspectors to provinces where it is alleged that party property has been damaged or irregular transactions have taken place, and it was learned that criminal complaints could be filed against those responsible if deemed necessary following the investigations.
Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was brought to the CHP Chairmanship with a decision of absolute nullity, held a meeting with his Central Executive Board (MYK).
In the meeting, which lasted approximately three hours, it was decided to dismiss the provincial chairs of Afyonkarahisar, Giresun, Trabzon, Yozgat, Burdur, Aydın, and Tekirdağ.
NUMBER OF DISMISSED PROVINCIAL CHAIRS RISES TO 43
With the latest decisions, the number of provincial chairs dismissed since Kılıçdaroğlu returned to office by court order has risen to 43. During the MYK meeting, it was also decided to appoint 14 provincial chairs. Together with the 15 appointments made previously, the total number of provincial chair appointments has reached 29.
In party corridors, it is stated that there are names among the current provincial administrations who support CHP Group Chair Özgür Özel. For this reason, it is expressed that new dismissals and appointments may come to the agenda in the coming days. Sources close to the Headquarters stated, "If there are places that do not recognize the will of the headquarters, they will also be dismissed."
FIELD VISITS BEGIN
Work directed at the organizations was also discussed at the meeting. According to the information obtained, Kılıçdaroğlu instructed deputy chairs, MYK members, and members of parliament to begin provincial tours.
In this context, it is planned for party delegations to visit various provinces, primarily those where new provincial chairs have been appointed. The visits aim to provide support to the new administrations and establish contact with non-governmental organizations.
INSPECTORS TO BE SENT TO SOME PROVINCES
One of the topics on the MYK agenda was the developments reported in some provinces that do not recognize the Kılıçdaroğlu administration. It was learned that inspectors will be assigned to places where it is alleged that party property has been damaged or irregular transactions have taken place.
It was noted that after the investigations, criminal complaints could be filed against those responsible if deemed necessary.
CONGRESS PREPARATIONS CONTINUE
Preparations regarding the ordinary congress process in the CHP are also continuing. It was stated that the commission established for the congress is continuing its work and that it is planned to carry out the process on the fastest schedule permitted by the Law on Political Parties.
According to party staff, the goal is to complete preparations by the first week of September. Membership lists are expected to be suspended for review starting September 16, and the congress process is expected to begin after this date.
