"WE JUST WON THE CASE"
Announcing the decision on X, Çelik stated the following:
"The 5-kuruş lawsuit we filed against Erdoğan has concluded! Regarding the insults expressed by Erdoğan on 23.11.2022, such as 'wretched, devoid of dignity, dishonorable, shameless...', we have just won the case we filed in accordance with the instruction of our 7th Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu: 'A lawsuit should be filed according to the person's worth; for me, his value is 5 kuruş, so file a 5-kuruş lawsuit'... We achieved what we wanted! However, in the counter-lawsuit filed with a demand of 500,000 TL to diminish the weight of the 5-kuruş lawsuit, the court ruled against us for 35,000 TL in compensation! We will appeal this part and ultimately win the counter-lawsuit as well... The struggle continues."
