Remarkable statement from Kılıçdaroğlu regarding Lütfü Savaş! He criticized the CHP

The 7th Chairman of the CHP, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, answered questions from TGRT Ankara representative Fatih Atik.

Making statements regarding the current agenda, Kılıçdaroğlu criticized the process by which the CHP determined its mayoral candidates.

In response to the question, "Do you have an initiative to convene an extraordinary congress? Are you returning?", Kılıçdaroğlu replied, "No, no, there is no such thing. It is our desire, and the common desire of everyone, for the CHP to be successful. There are some obstacles; every political party has obstacles in front of it. There were also obstacles in front of the CHP. Everyone is doing their best for it to be successful."

Regarding the question, "There are invitations from the party for you. Are you thinking of participating?", Kılıçdaroğlu said, "Yes, there are calls, it is mentioned from time to time. It is expressed, but I do not think this call is very appropriate for today."

"IF A PROBLEM ARISES IN THE LOCAL ELECTIONS..."

Kılıçdaroğlu's response to the question, "What will happen in the CHP after the March 31 Local Elections?" was as follows;

"Well, the local government election results will be looked at. If success is achieved in the local elections, we will all applaud together. But if a problem arises in the local elections, then, of course, we will naturally sit down and lay it all out on the table together, think about why success was not achieved, and discuss it."

WAS KILIÇDAROĞLU CONSULTED ON CANDIDATE DETERMINATION?

Kılıçdaroğlu also evaluated the mayoral candidates announced by the CHP. Responding to the question, "Did they ask for your opinion in determining the candidates?", Kılıçdaroğlu spoke as follows;

"No, no. In our party's tradition, if an opinion is not asked for, the party's former chairmen do not express an opinion. I am continuing the same tradition. If an opinion had been asked, I would have expressed my thoughts. When it is not asked, we naturally respect the will of the party."

Responding to the question, "What bothered you the most during the candidate determination process?", Kılıçdaroğlu said, "Well, I would have liked the candidate determination process to be conducted more soundly. It is not right for Mr. Lütfü Savaş to be worn down so much during the candidate determination process. It is not right. If you have determined a candidate, you must stand behind them."

Kılıçdaroğlu gave the following response to Fatih Atik's question, "Now, after you, Mr. Ekrem is in one place and Mr. Özgür is in another. The Republican People's Party is the party that founded the country. Can the CHP handle a dual structure?";

"I have never talked about intra-party issues. Intra-party issues are our own internal issues. I do not answer such questions anyway."
