It is reported that in the polls commissioned by the AKP for Ankara, the vote gap between Mansur Yavaş and Turgut Altınok is around 15 percentage points.

Stating that the votes received by the DEM Party and the New Welfare Party (YRP) will determine the outcome of the race in Istanbul, Babacan said, "According to the detailed calculations made within the AK Party, if the DEM Party receives over 4 percent and the YRP receives under 3 percent, Murat Kurum will have a chance to win; if the opposite happens, Ekrem İmamoğlu will have the chance to win."
