Mansur Yavaş announces his biggest project for Ankara! A jab at the AKP's 'crazy projects'

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş held the opening of his election coordination center in Gölbaşı.

According to the statement made by the ABB, Yavaş said in his speech at the opening that they embrace everyone without discrimination and will continue to do so.

"THE ONLY REASON FOR ECONOMIC HARDSHIP IS CORRUPTION"

Mansur Yavaş stated that they have broadcast more than 4 thousand tenders live, saying, "Ask all mayors, 'Why don't you broadcast live?' Let this corruption issue be lifted from the backs of municipalities and the country. You see the gap between the rich and the poor, you see the economic hardships. The only reason for this is corruption."

Expressing that his biggest project is to make the people of Ankara prosperous, Yavaş reported that they have provided support to 5 thousand 605 farmers in Gölbaşı with 2 million 150 thousand kilograms of seeds, to 2 thousand 483 farmers with diesel, to 837 farmers with liquid fertilizer, and to 2 thousand 93 farmers with vegetable seedlings.

Saying that "Turkey is tired of 'crazy projects'," Yavaş stated, "They have buried your hard-earned money in such trash projects for years, saying 'We are doing a crazy project.' When we took office, we saw that there was no sewage system in 232 villages in Ankara. Should we spend money on a trash project now, or on the Mamak-Gölbaşı line that we tendered as soon as we took office? When I took office, they warned me, saying, 'If this line is not built and a failure occurs, Gölbaşı will be left without water for months.' That was one of the first tenders we made."

Noting that they are carrying out the biggest project in Gölbaşı, Yavaş explained that the Capital Ankara Development Project is Turkey's largest agricultural and recreation area, that they have planted 20 thousand trees, and that they will host families and teach children how to farm there.
