Mansur Yavaş makes statement on 'Ebru Gündeş concert'! 'I invite everyone to watch on Monday'

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş made statements regarding current issues.

Announcing that the investigation into the 69 million TL payment for the October 29 Republic Day celebrations and the Ebru Gündeş concert has been completed, Yavaş stated that he will share the details with the public on Monday.

INVITED ALL OF TURKEY TO WATCH

Stating that everyone who made a mistake is being investigated, Yavaş said:

"I will make a statement on Monday at 15:00. I would like all of Turkey to watch it; let them see what the accounting is all about. Anyone who has made a mistake will go to the prosecutor's office. We have not hidden anything so far. All allegations are investigated within my municipality. Some of my bureaucrats are saddened by the investigations, but it is good for them to be cleared. When an objection is raised, we definitely inspect it. It is our Department of Culture that conducted this tender; if there are those who made mistakes here, they will do what is necessary.

We do not have a habit of defending ourselves. We came to change the system that squanders resources. Our greatest motto is to show that it is possible to work without stealing as the ABB."

"ATTACKS ARE COMING FROM ALL SIDES"

Claiming that he has come out in first place in polls but has been subjected to attacks in the last month, Mansur Yavaş said:

"In almost all of the 50 polls conducted in recent months, I have consistently come out in first place in public opinion research measuring success. There have been serious attacks against me in the last month, and they are coming from all sides. These do not provide anything for anyone. Using the judiciary as a stick to set up conspiracies is also a FETÖ tactic."
