Mansur Yavaş reveals the secret of economic success to Mehmet Şimşek

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş drew attention to the issues of the rule of law and democracy in his speech at the opening of the Presidential Candidate Office at the CHP Bülent Ecevit Campus. Yavaş said, "As long as there is no law and democracy, economic problems will not be solved, inflation will rise, and poverty will deepen."

Addressing Mehmet Şimşek, Yavaş stated that unless the rule of law is ensured, economic efforts will provide no benefit other than taking money from the pockets of the poor. He said, "Mr. Şimşek should not bother in vain; as long as you do not prioritize the law, all the efforts you make will provide no benefit beyond taking money from the pockets of the poor."

FIRES IN ANKARA AND THE SACRIFICE OF VOLUNTEERS

In his speech, Yavaş also touched upon the fires that broke out in Ankara and different regions of Turkey, stating that the fires in Eymir and Kızılcahamam have been brought under control. However, drawing attention to the AKUT volunteers who lost their lives during this process, he said, "They are the true nationalists, young people who protect Turkey's values."

DEMAND FOR JUSTICE AND LAW

Yavaş emphasized that justice and the law should be applied equally for everyone. Stating, "We want the legal rules in the Constitution to be applied equally for everyone. This is our most natural demand," he criticized the current government for not even complying with the laws it has enacted itself. He also stated that the arrests are political and that the law should not be a toy in anyone's hands.

Yavaş concluded his speech by saying, "The law is necessary for everyone. Hopefully, this system will change and the separation of powers will be realized," and expressed that they will begin working to achieve this goal.
