Following the statement by Turgut Altınok, the AKP's Ankara mayoral candidate, that "My entire net worth is not worth as much as the house of Mansur Yavaş's daughter in London," a statement regarding the house in question was issued by the Communications Office of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş.

Mansur Yavaş shares documents of his daughter's house in London!

The net worth of Turgut Altınok, the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) mayoral candidate of the People's Alliance formed by the AKP and MHP, continues to be a topic of public debate.

Altınok, who has been widely discussed due to his assets, targeted the CHP's candidate, current ABB Mayor Mansur Yavaş, stating, "My entire net worth is not worth as much as the house of Mansur Yavaş's daughter in London."

While Yavaş offered a 'swap' to Altınok, a statement regarding the house in London was made by Yavaş's office.

In the statement, which recalled Altınok's words that "My entire net worth is not worth as much as the house of Mansur Yavaş's daughter in London," it was noted that Yavaş had declared his assets on February 21, 2024, in the name of clean and transparent politics, and had called on all candidates to disclose their assets for the duration of their time in public office.

It was stated that the house of Mansur Yavaş's daughter in London was purchased for 465 thousand pounds, of which 372 thousand 999 pounds was a bank loan, and that the loan would be repaid in installments over 32 years.

The statement from Yavaş's communications office included the following:

"In the name of clean, transparent, and ethical politics, we are disclosing the purchase price and bank options for the house of Mansur Yavaş's daughter:

- Çağlayan Yavaş purchased her house for 465,000 Pounds. (ATTACHMENT - DOCUMENT 1)

- A bank loan of 372 thousand 999 Pounds was taken out for the 465,000 Pounds. (ATTACHMENT - DOCUMENT 2)

- This loan was taken out using the 'mortgage' system applied in England, where one becomes a homeowner while paying rent, and it will be repaid in 384 monthly installments, meaning over 32 years.

- When this house was purchased, Mansur Yavaş gifted 100 thousand pounds to his daughter, which he clearly stated in his asset declaration."

Mansur Yavaş has been regularly sharing his assets with the public since 2009. He has also issued an open call for all his bank card transactions to be examined since 1999.

The statement, which also shared the sale and loan documents of the house, included the following remarks:

"Under these circumstances, we will not allow those whose undisclosed assets are as much a subject of public debate as their disclosed ones to speculate over a house purchased with 32-year installments. Let our opponent keep what he has not disclosed; our offer to swap assets for 1/10th, or even 1/100th of the assets he has disclosed, remains valid.

Owning a lot of property is not in itself a suspicious situation. However, not sharing this with the public is a suspicious situation. We invite our opponent to immediately share all his assets, including the assets of the company in which he is a shareholder, with the public."
