Mansur Yavaş, who resigned from CHP, makes statement on presidential candidacy

Mansur Yavaş, whose name has been mentioned again in political circles in discussions regarding a presidential candidacy following his resignation from the CHP, has made a statement regarding the claims.

While discussions continue regarding the background of his resignation decision and his future political roadmap, Yavaş spoke to Independent Türkçe.

In response to the assessment put to Yavaş, "Some circles will interpret your resignation as you setting out for a presidential candidacy or a joint candidacy for the entire opposition," he stated that his resignation had no connection whatsoever to the presidential election.

"I AM WATCHING WHAT IS BEING SAID IN THE MEDIA WITH ASTONISHMENT"

Evaluating the association of his resignation decision with presidential candidacy debates, Yavaş said the following:

"There are those in the media who connect everything to my presidential candidacy. This resignation decision has nothing to do with the presidential election. I am watching what is being said in the media with astonishment."
