Announcing the resignation on her social media accounts, Uysal stated in her explanation that they were resigning from their duties, not from the party.
Uysal said the following in her statement:
"We have put in a lot of effort for our party, which we believe we have worked for sufficiently. Thank God our party has made good progress. The friends who come after us will continue. I have seen our Republic get on the right track. This is very valuable to me. I am very happy for the days our children and grandchildren will live with the republic in the future."
