A mass resignation earthquake has hit the Republican People's Party's (CHP) Mardin Provincial Organization. It has been learned that 9 individuals serving in the provincial administration have resigned from the party by submitting their petitions to the CHP Headquarters. Following this development, the provincial administration has officially fallen.
While no explanation has been provided regarding the reasons behind the resignations, the members, who preferred to remain silent, limited their statements to notifying that they had severed their ties with the party. CHP Mardin Provincial Chair Mahmut Duyan confirmed the resignations.
Following this development, the CHP Headquarters is expected to take action to reconstitute the organization in Mardin. It is being discussed in party circles that the structure of the provincial organization will be revised from scratch.
