Mass resignation earthquake in İYİ Party! Provincial Chair and 41 others have left

Resignations in the İYİ Party show no signs of stopping.

Following the resignations of İYİ Party Kayseri MP Dursun Ataş and İYİ Party İzmir MP Ümit Özlale, the party has been shaken by a series of departures in its Şırnak provincial organization.

ANNOUNCED ON SOCIAL MEDIA

A total of 41 people, including İYİ Party Şırnak Provincial Chair Mehmet Yılmaz İlçi, have resigned from their party.

Sharing the news on his X account, İlçi announced the resignation with the words: “I have resigned from my position as İYİ Party Şırnak Provincial Chair. A total of 41 people, including those from the İYİ Party Şırnak Provincial Administration that I chaired and those on the İYİ Party Şırnak Provincial Disciplinary Board, have resigned.”

İYİ Parti Şırnak İl Başkanlığı görevimden istifa ettim. Başkanlığını yaptığım İYİ Parti Şırnak İl Yönetiminden ve İYİ Parti Şırnak İl Disiplin Kurulunda olanlardan toplam 41 kişi istifa etmiştir.Kamuoyuna saygıyla duyurulur.

WAVE OF RESIGNATIONS CONTINUES

Resignations in the İYİ Party have not ceased since 2023. While many members of provincial and district organizations have resigned from the party, figures including Koray Aydın, who was among the party's founders, and others who held significant roles in the party have also resigned. Additionally, there have been many resignations of members of parliament.

Independent Adana MP Bilal Bilici, who resigned from the İYİ Party, and former İYİ Party Deputy Chair Bahadır Erdem have joined the CHP. İYİ Party Istanbul MPs Seyithan İşsiz and Ahmet Ersagun Yücel have joined the AKP.
