Mehmet Özhaseki responds to 'trade with Israel' protests: 'His heart is burning'

Making statements regarding the disaster housing currently under construction, Minister Mehmet Özhaseki responded to the protests held during his visit to Şanlıurfa. Özhaseki said, "Currently, there is only one leader in the world whose heart is burning for Palestine and who is working for it; that is Recep Tayyip Erdoğan."

Stating that the only leader in the world working for Palestine is AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Minister Özhaseki said, "Currently, there is only one leader whose heart is burning for Palestine; that is Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Go and tell this to those who sent you here. He is working for Palestine day and night. You only provoke and exploit this issue," he said.

Minister Mehmet Özhaseki pointed out that the person who has kept the Gaza issue in the public eye for days is AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan, and said the following:

About 3 months ago, we were at the United Nations. Our President stood up in front of those cruel heads of state and began his speech by saying, 'The world is bigger than five,' and continued by saying, 'A fairer world is possible.' While we are struggling and striving for these things, unfortunately, some continue to provoke because the election is coming. We will continue on the path we know to be right.

Stating that Erdoğan is the leader who stands behind all oppressed nations in the world, Minister Özhaseki used the following expressions:

Weren't our brothers in Shusha, Azerbaijan, under oppression for years? Weren't our lands under occupation? Who made sacrifices for those places? Of course, it was our President.

Now it has regained its freedom, and the call to prayer is being recited there. About three years ago, we went to Bangladesh, we went to Myanmar. Thousands of poor Muslims there raise their hands to the sky and call out, 'O Lord, help Turkey, may God be pleased with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.'

It was Recep Tayyip Erdoğan who voiced the troubles of the people there.
