Membership call from YENİ Party Istanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik

YENİ Party Istanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik issued a membership call to citizens in a video posted on his social media account. Çelik announced that his party has reached 160 thousand members in Istanbul in one and a half months.

Stating that there are 75 thousand women and 33 thousand young people among those who joined the party, Çelik said, "We have broken the molds of narrow and old politics in Turkey, and we have begun to build a new politics."

Çelik noted that district chairs were determined with the participation of members, and that it was now time for the provincial chairmanship elections. He announced that those who become party members by September 30 will have the right to elect their provincial chair in the elections to be held on October 17-18.

Inviting citizens to the party, Çelik emphasized that "Sovereignty unconditionally belongs to the nation." Calling on citizens who are committed to the Republic and democracy and who desire justice and freedom, Çelik said, "Become a member of YENİ Party, have a say in Turkey's new future."

In his statement, Çelik also made reference to the leadership of Chairman Özgür Özel and the determination of Ekrem İmamoğlu in the political journey.
