Messages of support for Ekrem İmamoğlu continue to arrive from all over the world.
The "Free İmamoğlu" banner unfurled at the Socialist International meeting held in Istanbul had previously drawn international attention.
This time, the "Free İmamoğlu" image projected onto the stage at the Eurocities 2025 summit in Portugal once again highlighted the support for İmamoğlu.
Detained Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu announced this development on his social media account, where he shares posts in English.
Today, at the @EUROCITIES 2025 General Assembly in Braga, Portugal, I was honored from afar with a very special recognition.
