Message on Syria from Süleyman Soylu: 'Erdoğan's resolve...'

Jihadist groups led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), which launched an operation against the Assad administration in Syria on November 27, captured Damascus today (December 8).

Following the fall of the Assad regime in Syria, AKP Istanbul MP Süleyman Soylu made a post on his social media account.

In his post on his X account, Soylu stated, "The Turkish nation has passed a great test. It has successfully passed the test of humanity, brotherhood, and neighborliness. In the migration caused by the great tyranny of history, despite all provocations and evils, thanks to the resolve of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the nobility of our nation, we have left a legacy of honorable hospitality and brotherhood for our future generations. Praise be to God."
