CHP leader Özgür Özel shared a memorial message on his social media account for journalist Metin Göktepe, who was beaten to death by police while in custody 28 years ago.
Özel wrote in his post: "Journalist Metin Göktepe was beaten to death because he wanted to uncover hidden truths. Despite his words, 'Enough, I cannot see,' they continued to strike him. On the 28th anniversary of his murder, I remember Evrensel reporter Metin Göktepe with respect and longing."
