MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli's 'Terim Fund' criticism: 'Fund and financial games cause justified anger'

MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli spoke at his party's group meeting. Bahçeli targeted the CHP through HEDEP.

Regarding the "Fatih Terim Fund" news that has been on the agenda recently, Bahçeli said, "Fund and financial games arranged to obtain interest income, well-known figures who tie their millions of dollars to these funds, fraudulent bankers who support them, and clowns who make curls out of dollars in their hair are causing justified anger in our nation. Social purification and political cleansing are our unavoidable obligations."

"The only solution for those seeking a peaceful and safe harbor is the MHP and the People's Alliance. We are preparing to remove the misery that has fallen upon local administrations. We are burning with the goal of wiping out those who want to block Turkey's path from local administrations. We have to overcome the political barrier and the defeatist political obstacle in front of us. We are looking to show their place to those who do politics not with the state of mind of a decision-maker, but with the state of mind of a hostage protester, and to remove them from the agenda of history and the nation. We are working continuously for this purpose. We have met with every beautiful person of our nation in all 81 of our provinces."

TARGETED CHP THROUGH HEDEP

According to our understanding, everyone is equal, everyone is Turkey. The CHP Chairman's statement that 'everyone is equal in Turkey, but those of Kurdish origin are less equal' is a reflection of the exact same terrorist rhetoric. To say that our Kurdish-origin brothers and sisters are less equal is to openly attack the truth. This is an attack on the indivisible integrity of this nation, it is a crime. My Kurdish-origin brothers and sisters are our citizens with equal rights and laws. Which Kurdish brother of mine has been deprived of any opportunity? Is it possible to ignore equal opportunity in Turkey? A person being treated as a second-class citizen due to their ethnic origin is a state of degradation never seen in any period of our history.

Haven't my Kurdish-origin brothers and sisters become district governors, governors, members of parliament, ministers, and even presidents? They are so mixed up that they are divided into a thousand pieces within the framework of reason, conscience, and political understanding. They have deep ulterior motives as deep as the Puerto Rico Trench. HEDEP means CHP.

My advice to the CHP Chairman is to hold a makeshift congress and either include HEDEP in their ranks or join HEDEP immediately.

LOCAL ELECTION MESSAGE

Turkey will meet once again under the red flag in the March 31 elections. From today until March 31, 2024, there is a period of 125 days. During this time, we will accelerate and intensify our work day by day. The heart is the corridor of the eye. Whatever comes to the heart comes to the eye from there and takes shape. In our hearts, there are the blessed memories of a 1000-year brotherhood.

We have never been those who withdraw according to the seasons or overflow like a flood according to the rainfall. Our purpose in meeting the right people in the right place at the right time has always been this. We are aware that the right policy we implement at the wrong time will not benefit us. We did not proceed by saying 'all or nothing.' There is patience in the roadmap of our political progress. If we are not cautious against dark games, defeat is inevitable. We must pursue unity of strength against disintegration. We must meet on the side of the oppressed against the oppressors. Every person is special, a holder of honor and rights. Like a clay pot, whatever is inside a person constantly leaks out. Sooner or later, good or bad comes to light. Our national and human values are being eroded.

The fate of those who open their hands to the ignoble and dig pits for each other, whatever their name may be, is clear. A politician's essence must guarantee their word. The Turkish and Turkish Century will not be built by those who rub their hands to fill their pockets and wallets unfairly, but by those who are lovers of the nation, who are masters of virtue and affection. RESPONSE TO ÖZEL'S "EKREM BEY IS SEALED TO ISTANBUL" REMARK

Neither the CHP, nor the İP, nor HEDEP will be able to hold their ground against us. First and foremost, with the understanding of Turkey, we will be peace, we will be good news, we will be consolation, we will be power, we will be the solution, we will be the cure. The CHP Chairman said; "Ekrem Bey is sealed to Istanbul." We will hopefully succeed in scraping off and removing that rusty seal.

HOSTAGE EXCHANGE IN GAZA

We stand for lasting peace and a fair solution between Israel and Palestine. We evaluate the hostage exchange as promising. We are undoubtedly happy about the opening of a humanitarian aid corridor with the initiatives of our President. We stand behind their rightful struggle. We recognize no other option than the establishment of an independent Palestinian State with East Jerusalem as its capital, possessing the 1967 borders. The valuable statements of the Prime Ministers of Spain and Belgium have shown that one can no longer remain silent. The MHP stands sincerely by every decision our President will make and every policy he will implement.

"BONUS DECISION FOR RETIREES IS GRATIFYING"

The decision for a bonus for working retirees is gratifying. I believe that the conditions of our retirees will get even better. Every segment of society will receive the share it deserves. The negotiations for the 2024 budget have begun and were completed last Friday. In addition to the budget, the budgets of 17 ministries and the development plan have been accepted.
